About usChallenge Airlines (BE) S.A. is an airline based in Liege Airport (LGG) with a Belgian AOC. The airline operates daily scheduled cargo flights and charter services carrying nonstandard goods and general cargo internationally. Challenge Airlines (BE) is part of a Global airline group that carries approximately 400,000 tons of cargo annually. The Group is in rapid growth and is looking for great & talented people with possibility to within evolve the company.Job PurposeThe Denied Party Screening Compliance Agent ensures compliance with the World Customs Organization (WCO) SAFE Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade and related customs or AVSEC requirements; by checking shipments data in the ERP system (Priority).The agent will use various IT & analytics tools to verify compliance, provide feedback and resolve non-compliance issues with the relevant operational entities within our organization.This role is critical to our successful cargo operations, ensuring compliance with international laws, rules & regulations.Your responsibilitiesScreening and FeedbackUse a dedicated platform to screen all shipment parties (e.g., shippers, consignees)Review and analyze flagged results and assess if they are valid based on regulatory requirementsShare feedback with teams and document decisions on flagged shipmentsCompliance and RiskEnsure that all flagged shipments are resolved in compliance with international and domestic trade regulationsEscalate serious cases to the Compliance Manager or Legal advisor for further investigationStay updated on changes to restricted/denied party lists and embargo regulationsOperational CoordinationWork with internal teams to collect shipment detailsContact clients or partners to clarify or confirm flagged informationReporting and DocumentationKeep clear records of screenings and resolutions using the platformCreate reports and highlight potential risks or recurring issuesHelp improve workflows and proceduresTraining and SupportTrain team members and sharing professional insightsOffer support and guidance to internal teams about the DPS processYour profileCertification in trade compliance (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Export Compliance Professional (ECoP), or equivalent) is preferred but not requiredExperience in air freight logistics, trade compliance, or related fields (minimum 2 years)Strong analytical and decision-making skills to assess flagged resultsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to provide (English) clear feedback within the Network and stationsKnowledge of international trade regulations, embargoes, and denied/restricted party listsProficiency in using compliance or screening platforms (experience with ERP systems such as Priority is highly preferred)You are flexible and open to working standard office hours during the first months, with the possibility of transitioning to shift work at a later stageWhat we offerAn attractive salary package in line with your experience including extra-legal benefits (meal vouchers, health insurance, bonus, 13th month ...)A dynamic work environment where there are opportunities to evolve
