This role combines administrative responsibilities with a strong focus on special loads, contributing to safe and efficient cargo operations in a fast-growing and challenging aviation environment.Your responsibilitiesThe Ground Operations Officer & Loadmaster will support the NP Ground Operations and the Chief Loadmaster.ComplianceComply with regulatory requirements and company manuals and procedures.Detect and report, hazards and risks associated to the ground activitiesOversight of the safe and careful use of company aircraft during ground operations.Act as Challenge Airlines (BE) Ground Operations Representative on charter flights when needed.Special loadsBe responsible for the special loads approval/calculation for Challenge GroupIdentify risks associated to the loading/unloading of oversize cargoEnsure Boeing limitations and company regulations are respected during special loads processProvide load-ability documents, and tie-down instructionsProvide support for ground handling providers and commercial teams, with additional documentation such as tie-down sheet, 3D drawings, ...Trainings and recordsParticipate to the development of training contents with the senior loadmaster, aligned with regulatory requirements and best industry practicesSupport Chief Loadmaster to deliver training to ground staffYour profileOpen-minded, willing to learn and adapt to a challenging operational environmentOrganized and work in a structured wayExcellent communication skillsEnglish is fluent, knowledge of French and/or Dutch are a plusTravel may regularly be requiredExtensive experience as a loadmaster on freighter aircraftCurrent on IATA DGR RegulationsExperienced in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)Have the ability to work in a team and independently as the role signifiesValid qualification of loadmaster/load controller on wide-body aircraftWhat we offerAn attractive salary commensurate with your experience, including fringe benefits (annual bonus, meal vouchers, health insurance, etc.)A dynamic working environment with opportunities for development and stimulating projects to carry outA permanent contract
