Head of Corporate Development and M&A Our client is a leading, PE-backed, International IT Services business, headquartered in Belgium. Having undergone significant international expansion, the business is seeking a Head of Corporate Development and M&A to drive the strategic growth of the business. Role Overview The Head of Corporate Development and M&A role will be central to driving long-term enterprise value through acquisitions, divestitures, new commercial partnerships and investments. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, acting as a key bridge between executive leadership and functional teams. The successful candidate will combine deep analytical capabilities with strong deal-making expertise and commercial acumen. It requires a high level of autonomy, energy, and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically across complex transactions. Develop and execute portfolio transformation via; Develop and manage a clear pipeline for investment Ensure capital allocation aligns with long-term value creation and strategic priorities. Initiate and develop commercial agreements. Expansion into new partnership-led business models Lead deal negotiations, including valuation, structuring and deal terms Divestment of legacy revenue streams where appropriate Engage with targets and maintain strong relationships in the ecosystem Develop and lead the full M&A and corporate development lifecycle, including: Opportunity identification and strategic assessment Financial modelling and valuation Deal structuring and negotiation Execution and post-deal alignment Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, commercial) to ensure seamless deal execution and integration Key Strategic Objectives Establish New Strategic Partnerships; identify, negotiate, and secure at least one significant partnership with a service provider in a market where the company currently has no presence, supporting geographic and commercial expansion. Build and Manage Growth Investment Pipeline: develop a clear and actionable pipeline for the deployment of divestiture proceeds into high-impact growth opportunities, including technology investments and entry into new markets. Drive Active Deal Portfolio Management: maintain multiple transactions in parallel, ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities. Optimize deal timing, sequencing, and execution to maximize strategic value and overall business impact. Experience & Skills Proven track record in M&A, corporate development, or transaction services from either a consultancy and/or Investment Banking, Private Equity or related Corporate entities. Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-border or multi-party deals Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution High energy, self-driven, and comfortable operating with autonomy Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level Ability to bridge strategy and execution across diverse teams
