We are looking for a Digitalization Lead who is analytical, solution‑oriented, and collaborative to join our team in Braine Pharma Manufacturing (BPM), based at our UCB campus located in Braine‑l’Alleud, Walloon Brabant, Belgium
About the role
You are going to be the central point of contact for operational digitalization across BPM—chemistry, dry forms, and packaging. You will deploy advanced digital solutions (MES, SCADA, digital twins, predictive analytics), align SAP, electronic checklists, and performance tools with Good Manufacturing Practice, and coach teams to adopt a digital culture. You will also contribute to governance, processes, and continuous improvement, ensuring traceability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across the site.
Who you will work with
You will partner with BPM leadership and departments, acting as the OE single point of contact across assigned units. You’re going to collaborate closely with Engineering, Finance, HSE, IT, Purchasing, QA, and the BPM digitalization community—coordinating priorities, sharing feedback, and communicating results to stakeholders.
What you will do
1. You will be the single point of contact for BPM digitalization across chemistry, dry forms, and packaging.
2. You will be responsible for drafting, updating and monitoring the BPM digitalization roadmap.
3. You will be responsible for integrating SAP, electronic checklists, and performance tools aligned with Good Manufacturing Practice.
4. You will manage the deployment of MES, SCADA, digital twins, and predictive analytics to optimize performance.
5. You will train, coach, and support BPM employees to adopt digital tools, culture, and continuous improvement.
6. You will coordinate governance, processes, and feedback loops to improve digitalization and business process alignment
7. You will ensure safety culture, policy compliance, data quality, and timely communication with stakeholders and Quality Assurance
Interested?
For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills
8. Master’s degree in engineering, digital manufacturing, or related field
9. 5–7 years in digital transformation including 2–3 years in project or program management.
10. Fluent French and English;
11. Experience delivering industrial projects in biopharmaceutical or Good Manufacturing Practice environments.
12. Hands‑on with MES, SCADA, automation, vision systems, and data platforms.
13. Strong stakeholder leadership in project management ; risk, timeline, change management; excellent communication and collaboration.
14. Excellent communicator, listener, negotiator, and facilitator in business & technical environments; strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
