Created in 2013, our client is an innovative start-up located in Liege. Our client is engaged in the development of class III medical devices. The company has launched its industrialization and production activities in a brand-new production unit and has successfully reached ISO 13485 certification.
The goal of our client is to develop superior products with breakthrough technologies and innovative processes, and thus improve patient well-being and contribute to a better environment. The company will launch its first commercial product and several other innovative products are under development.
To support this challenging development, we are looking for a :
R&D Project Manager
Responsibilities
In cooperation with the Operations Manager, you are responsible for the development of new products, from conception to market access.
* Project Management (internal and/or consortium work packages - planning, timeline, budget, milestones, reports…)
* Stakeholders coordination
* Creation of links between research, marketing and board
* Formalization of know-how of the production process and of the product range (analyze the products to constitute a product file and report key elements in a specification sheet, write technical reports, create document database, collaborate with industrialization team when designing the product manufacturing lines…)
* Development of new products & process opportunities
* Team Management (coaching, assessment and training of research assistants, positive working atmosphere, organize meetings…)
Profile
* Master Degree in chemistry, biotechnology, bioengineering or biomedical
* 5 years of relevant experience in R&D development (medical device)
* Previous supervisory experience and ability to lead a research team
* Expertise in Project Management and tools
* Ability to work in a startup environment (adaptability, collaboration, versatility, interest in hallenges)
* Organized, quick, efficient, focused on quality and details
* Good verbal and written English
* Proficient knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office application
