In this role you will be working closely with the finance manager and an external partner for accounting, you will be in charge of:
* Preparing the financial statements
* Preparation of the monthly closings
* Translating the payroll calculations into the accounting system
* Managing the fixed assets and depreciations
* Confirming the intercompany transactions for different entities
* Preparing the provisions and accruals
* Preparation of the balance sheet reconciliations
* Key user for the ERP-system
* Preparing the VAT declarations
* Assist the finance manager in group reporting
* Contact point for external audits
* Possibility to internalize parts the accounting
Our client is looking for someone who matches the following criteria:
* Bachelor degree in accounting or finance (or equal by experience)
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in GL accounting
* Fluent Dutch or French, good knowledge of English
* Eager to learn
* Strong knowledge of MS Excel
* Hands-on approach
* Good communication skills
