Technical Specialist (TES) – EU Environment


📍 Brussels, Belgium

🏢 Customer: European External Action Service (EEAS)



Are you a hands-on IT support professional with strong technical troubleshooting skills and a customer-oriented mindset? We are currently looking for several Technical Specialists (TES) to support a high-profile European institution environment within the EEAS.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting workstation environments, peripherals, cabling, and end-user applications while ensuring a high-quality service delivery experience.


Your Responsibilities


* Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
* Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, peripherals, and cabling
* Support workstation environments (Windows 10 and above)
* Execute patching and temporary fixes to maintain security and operational continuity
* Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, IP addresses, and asset information
* Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify technical issues
* Work closely with end users and customer stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of incidents
* Contribute to incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes



Required Skills & Experience


* Strong experience in workstation and peripheral support/administration
* In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 and newer environments
* Good understanding of:
* Incident Management
* Problem Management
* Change Management
* Configuration Management
* Familiarity with patch management and IPAM systems
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Able to work independently and in a structured manner
* Accurate, reliable, and service-oriented mindset


Language Requirements


* English: C1 minimum
* French: C1 minimum

(Both written and spoken communication are mandatory for this assignment.)



Nice to Have Certifications


The following certifications are considered an asset:

* Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
* Windows 10 MCSA
* Google IT Support Professional Certificate
* Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
* IT Helpdesk Professional certification
* Advanced Windows Troubleshooting for IT
* Call Centre Associate Certified
* Certified Network Cabling Design Professional (CNSDP)
