We are looking for a creative and dynamic team player to fill the position of Event Project Manager. The ideal candidate has a very good knowledge of event management as well as strong project management skills; delivers physical, hybrid and online events in a qualitative and timely manner; oversees and monitors financially medium-scale event projects; is commercial-minded and solution-oriented.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning
2. Coordination and management of small and medium-size event projects from A to Z
3. Ideas and suggestions for enhanced, connected experiences to audience and stakeholders
4. Daily contact with clients (mainly the EU Institutions)
5. Strong and efficient project management skills
6. Budget management, monitoring and optimisation
7. Coordination with internal creative and production teams involved in event projects
8. Coordination with service providers and suppliers
9. Day-to-day supervision of project tasks
10. Quality control, time, change and resources management of projects
11. Sustainable, innovative and inclusive event services
Requirements:
12. Minimum 5-6 years of event organisation and management in a communication environment, preferably for the EU Institutions and the European Commission
13. Excellent organisational and planning skills
14. Strong project and time management skills (Prince 2 certification will be considered an asset)
15. Proven organisation and delivery of online and physical event projects (conferences, meetings, webinars, seminars, roadshows) with networking and exhibition activities
16. Good knowledge of online registration, conferencing and engagement tools and platforms (like Zoom, Teams, Webex, Interactio, Sli.do, Hopin, etc.)
17. Ability to manage small project teams
18. Proven capacity to manage small and medium-range budgets
19. Ability to work on the preparation of offers for Request for Services and Tenders/Bids
20. Excellent knowledge of English and French (any other language will be considered an asset)
21. Focus on qualitative, creative and sustainable event services
22. Knowledge of registration tools like CVENT, Swoogo and B2Match is necessary.
23. Strong capacity of managing event projects in parallel during preparation and implementation.
