Position Summary:
The ZTD GMS Business Partner will be responsible to support the GMS business across all enterprise technology areas. The Business Partner works to ensure the effective ongoing technical operations with key focus on manufacturing technologies including ERP, digital services, business intelligence, network, security, compliance and Infrastructure. The role will include working with global cross functional teams to deliver projects and solutions that helps to drive, support and sustain our GMS business. The position will also oversee the support of local applications and systems through managing a small site-based technical team.
Business Partnership Responsibilities:
1. Site SLT Representation: Represent ZTD on the Site Leadership Team
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders including senior management, department heads, and business unit leaders to understand their IT needs and align strategies with organizational goals. Regularly communicate IT plans, initiatives, and achievements to ensure transparency and buy-in.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between ZTD and other departments to ensure that technology solutions meet the needs of various business functions. Act as a liaison between ZTD and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into layman's terms.
4. Team Communication: Maintain open lines of communication within the ZTD (Local/global) team to facilitate information sharing, collaboration, and problem-solving. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and priorities. Encourage feedback and create a supportive environment for idea exchange.
5. Change Management: Communicate effectively with employees across the organization during periods of change, such as system implementations or process improvements. Address concerns, provide updates, and solicit feedback to minimize resistance and promote adoption.
6. External Communication: Represent the ZTD department in external communications with clients, partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies as needed. Articulate the organization's IT capabilities, security measures, and compliance efforts to external stakeholders to build trust and credibility.
7. Strategic Planning Meetings: Lead or participate in strategic planning meetings with SLT to align ZTD objectives with overall business strategies. Present ZTD initiatives, budgets, and resource allocation plans, and solicit feedback to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
