Senior Scrum Master (hands on) – Banking Client – Brussels
Rate: Flexible
Duration: 9 months
Hybrid working: 8 days onsite in the brussels office per month, the rest is remote working
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Scrum Master with strong communication skills to guide Agile practices and ensure timely delivery across squads.
Your day-to-day mission:
* Coach teams in Agile principles, practices and metrics
* Collaborate with the Product Owners to manage backlogs - with good data quality - and realign priorities if needed
* Identify and support in resolving team impediments
* Facilitating squad ceremonies to support/develop/improve squad efficiency, autonomy and cross-functional collaboration
* Ensuring compliance to way of working within the squad
* Monitor performance to drive continuous improvement
* Work closely with squad leads and promote team dynamics and psychological safety
* Actively participate in the Scrum Master community
What you need to have to succeed in this role:
* 3-5 years’ experience as either Scrum Master or agile coach
* Demonstrated servant-leadership mindset to deliver value effectively
* Experience working within Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Change management and facilitation experience
* Establishes collaborative relationships that promote transparency, trust, and team cohesion, including outsourced and offshored team
* Strong stakeholder management with effective organization, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* Knowledge of value based delivery
* Strong communication skills in English
* PSM1 or equivalent certification
What makes you stand out
* Proven experience as Scrum Master and/or agile coach
* Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps and ServiceNow
* Technical expertise and experience in the financial industry
