We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a major financial institution operating within a highly regulated environment. The role sits within large-scale Security Infrastructure and Data Centre transformation programs, supporting critical systems that underpin core financial operations.
The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of Business, Security, and Infrastructure teams, ensuring that technology changes are secure, compliant, resilient, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Your Mission
As a Business Analyst in a Security Infrastructure context, you will:
Act as the interface between Business stakeholders, Security Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, and IT delivery teams
Clearly articulate business drivers behind operational, regulatory, and strategic transformation initiatives
Translate business needs into structured Business, Functional, and Non-Functional requirements (with strong emphasis on security, resilience, and compliance)
Provide advisory support to stakeholders by proposing secure, viable, and value-driven solution options
Facilitate implementation and deployment of infrastructure and security changes with minimal business disruption
Contribute to risk identification, impact analysis, and mitigation planning
Define and validate test scenarios, including system integration, security, and non-functional testing
Your responsibilities:
Security Infrastructure:
Contribute to analysis and requirement definition for Security Infrastructure upgrades
Collaborate closely with Security Architects and Infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with internal security standards and regulatory expectations
Support impact assessments related to Security control enhancements, Vulnerability remediation programs and Secure system design initiatives
Participate in threat, risk, and control workshops
Ensure traceability between business requirements and security controls
Support audit preparation and remediation tracking when required
Data Centre Migration & Infrastructure Transformation :
Participate in planning and execution of Data Centre migration and infrastructure transformation programs
Analyse application and infrastructure dependencies across network, storage, compute, and middleware layers
Assess business impacts of infrastructure relocation and platform transitions
Identify and manage risks associated with migration waves and cutover activities
Documentation: Migration requirements, Operational readiness criteria, Cutover and rollback plans and Runbooks and validation procedures
Coordinate cross-functional validation to ensure system stability, service continuity, and business readiness post-migration
Support business continuity and resilience objectives throughout transition phases
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst on IT transformation or infrastructure programs
Strong experience within a regulated financial services environment
Exposure to Security Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, or IT Risk initiatives
Experience contributing to Data Centre migration or large infrastructure transformation programs
Strong understanding of:
Business & Functional Requirements
Non-Functional Requirements (security, performance, availability, resilience)
User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
Experience with Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and/or traditional delivery methodologies (Waterfall, V-Model)
Strong modelling capabilities (Process Modelling, Use Cases, Story Mapping, Data Modelling)
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
Strong analytical mindset and autonomy
Fluent in English
