As part of this mission, we are looking for a Power BI Expert to join a strategic project in the financial sector. Project ContextYou will join a 6-person development team focused on reporting and data solutions. The project includes:Migrating an on-premise data warehouse to the cloud.Converting a large number of static SAP BO reports into interactive Power BI dashboards that meet business requirements.Leveraging the new data warehouse across multiple European countries to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities1. Coaching & Mentoring (50%)Support and mentor a mixed team of IT developers and business users.Share best practices, strengthen skills in Power BI data modeling and visualization, and build team expertise.2. Data Modeling & Report Development (50%)Design, implement, and maintain robust semantic models for scalable and high-performance reporting.Develop and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards aligned with business requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet strategic objectives. Required Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a Power BI Expert in a complex, enterprise environment.Power BI certification is a strong asset.Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Desktop/Service.Experience with paginated reports is a plus.Strong communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is preferred.Knowledge of SAP BO is a significant advantage.Solid experience in data modeling, data transformation, and integration.Strong knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) in a multi-country, multi-user context.Understanding of different connectivity modes (Import, DirectQuery, Live Connection).Strong grasp of data visualization best practices, layout, and UX.
