Nexeo Belgium is looking for a Credit Officer to join the credit management team of a leading financial institution in Belgium.
The mission focuses on managing credit applications from introduction to finalization, ensuring a seamless client experience and compliance with internal procedures. You will play a key role in advising clients, analyzing their credit needs, and proposing the most suitable financial solutions.
Your mission
As a Credit Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients and ensure efficient handling of their credit requests from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
* Introduce and manage credit applications by phone, guiding clients through the process and ensuring timely completion of their files.
* Act as a trusted financial advisor by analyzing client situations and recommending the most appropriate credit solutions.
* Provide clear information and updates to clients regarding the status of their requests.
* Verify contracts, supporting documents, legal mentions, and signatures to ensure compliance.
* Facilitate fund disbursement and assist clients in resolving any non-conformities.
* Adopt a proactive sales mindset by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and exceeding commercial targets.
Your profile
Education & Experience
* Previous experience in call centers, banking, or credit is an asset.
* Strong commercial mindset and proven customer orientation.
Technical skills
* Mandatory: Proficiency in MS Office.
* Preferred: Knowledge of banking products or credit processes.
Soft skills
* Excellent communication and advisory skills.
* Client-oriented, resilient under stress, and a strong team player.
* Autonomous, structured, precise, and rigorous in execution.
* Strong sales drive with the ability to achieve and surpass objectives.
Languages
* Fluent in Dutch and French (written and spoken).
* Very good knowledge of English.
