Drive new business development for Yusen Logistics' SCS global solutions across the European market. Focus on identifying, pursuing, and securing new enterprise-level clients, while expanding Yusen's footprint and ensuring sustainable profitability in the region.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Identify and secure new clients among leading enterprises.
Build strong relationships with select accounts at Executive level and influence complex stakeholder groups.
Develop tailored pitches for SCS solutions relevant to key sectors across Europe.
2.CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
Conduct presentations, negotiations, and collaborative meetings with prospective clients.
Position Yusen Logistics as a trusted partner for supply chain solutions.
3.SOLUTION PROMOTION
Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and RFP teams to develop commercially competitive proposals and pricing for strategic bids, defining & articulating Yusen's Supply Chain Solutions CVP/USP for the European market.
4.REGIONAL MARKETING SUPPORT
Work with Global Marketing to adapt sales tools and sector specific promotional campaigns for the European market.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
5.MARKET ANALYSIS & REPORTING
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
Maintain accurate reporting of customer performance, pipeline activity, and help track market trends providing data-driven insight.
EXPERIENCE
* A minimum of 10 years plus experience in Complex Supply Chain Solutions including: Cross Border Transportation, International Logistics, EU Domestic Transportation, Trade and Compliance.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Strong sales background with established relationships among leading European enterprises
* Proven ability to secure new business and expand client portfolios
* Deep knowledge of E2E supply chain management & international freight forwarding
* Demonstrable knowledge of omnichannel & fulfilment an advantage
* Knowledge of 4PL supply chain management considered a strong plus
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Independent decision-making, accountability, and drive
* Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional European languages preferred
