Role Overview:
As an EPC Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed project schedules across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phases. You’ll support multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution and progress control of large-scale industrial projects. Your expertise in Primavera P6 and project planning methodologies will be critical in driving project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, update, and maintain integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
* Use Primavera P6 to prepare detailed planning and tracking of progress, resources, and costs.
* Align planning deliverables with project scope, budget, and milestones.
* Monitor progress vs. baseline, perform critical path analysis, and recommend mitigation strategies.
* Ensure schedule consistency across internal teams, contractors, and clients.
* Support the Project Controls team with earned value analysis, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
* Participate in project reviews, reporting progress, risks, and deviations.
* Foster coordination between PMO, site planners, project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
* At least 3 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in EPC or industrial projects.
* Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
* Understanding of project controls techniques such as Earned Value Management (EVM), resource management, cost engineering, and risk analysis.
* Fluent in English. French or Dutch is a plus.
* PMI-SP, PMP, or Prince2 certification is a plus.
* Experience working in multi-cultural, fast-paced project environments.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate delays, coordinate stakeholders, and drive deadlines.
