We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior JAVA developer with Jython knowledge, to expand our small Maximo application Team - split between Zwijndrecht and Chennai.
You will be supporting current development, while also are open to a more versatile role of tackling configuration and integration demands within the platform in the future.
Your responsibilities
* You will be supporting the current developer, assessing and translating business requirements into best possible solutions for the application.
* You share and document, knowledge and application changes according to the defined business- and ITIL service model.
* You will be responsible for operational quality, providing 2nd-Line support to the business.
* When coming to a fair understanding of the Maximo environment within the organization, you will also be tackling integration and/or configuration issues in the system.
Your profile
* Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
* A minimum of 5 years professional JAVA development experience
* You understand Asset Management and/or Procurement processes or are willing to learn
* IBM Maximo certification is a plus, but not a hard requirement
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
