About the Role

My client are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brussels to ensure our products and processes consistently meet internal standards and exceed customer expectations. My clients work heavily within the Aerospace industry to enhance technologies for designing, building, testing, and maintaining aircraft, missiles, spacecraft, and rockets for both the atmosphere (aeronautics) and outer space (astronautics).
Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain quality control systems and processes in line with ISO standards.
* Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
* Monitor production and testing activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Support supplier qualification and auditing processes.
* Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
* Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and documentation to management and stakeholders.
* Ensure full traceability and regulatory compliance where applicable.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
* Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role (preferably in manufacturing, medical devices, automotive, or high-tech industries).
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
* Familiarity with tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Six Sigma.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software (e.g., QMS tools, SAP, etc.).
