Job Title: IT Project & Application ManagerWork Location: Brussels, BelgiumContract Duration: 23/06/2025-31/05/2026Languages Required: English and (Dutch or French)Remote Status: HybridWork Regime: Full TimeJob DescriptionThe main tasks will include: managing IT projects, including launching and following up on projects, planning their implementation, monitoring their scope, budget and schedule, managing issues and risks, drafting progress reports, producing documentation, and so on;working with the business to set priorities within your project portfolio;cooperating on and synchronizing with IT projects upstream or downstream of your projects with a view to dealing with scheduling constraints and realising synergies between projects;testing requirements provided by the business prior to their approval;validating and verifying specifications drawn up by the business and – in the event of software developed– translating these into a functional, technical design based on Microsoft technologies (.NET);managing a team of internal and/or external developers together with the .NET technical manager and closely monitoring projects entailing software that is purchased or developed externally;validating a testing and quality management strategy and monitoring them during rollout;overseeing releases; supporting end users (second line);Organizing and prioritizing the maintenance of the developed solutions.Requirements:Holds a university degree specializing in IT and/or electricity. Has several years of relevant experience as an IT project manager and/or Business Analyst and/or functional analyst and/or product owner.Experience with agile scrum development and/or lean management is a plus. Experience in projects/products based on Microsoft architecture (.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server) is a plus. Can communicate easily with developers on technical matters.Knowledge of and experience in the electricity and/or energy sector would be an asset.Keeps abreast of the latest IT developments. Demonstrable experience in digitalization would be an asset. Can communicate easily with operators about technical and design matters.Has an analytical mind and good organizational skills.Is customer-driven and a good communicator and you work well in a team.experience with agile scrum development and/or lean managementIs fluent in English. You have a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
