Project Manager - transversal servicesLanguage Requirements: Fluent in English and Dutch, with an operational knowledge of FrenchContract Type: Freelance / ConsultantDescriptionAs a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.You will manage the resources assigned to each project, handle budget planning and forecasting, and ensure alignment between IT and business objectives. You will report directly to the Manager, while maintaining close collaboration with business stakeholders through regular service and project reviews.Your role will require leading remote teams as well as multidisciplinary teams across departments to guarantee timely and high-quality project delivery.Key responsibilitiesManage project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables across transversal servicesMonitor and control project budgets (OPEX & CAPEX), including multi-year forecastingLead and coordinate internal and external project teams, including architects, senior consultants, and junior consultantsConduct regular project and service reviews with business stakeholdersPrepare and deliver high-quality communications and presentations, including SteerCo sessionsManage RFP (Request for Proposal) projects in compliance with public sector standardsFacilitate agile ceremonies and ensure consistent project follow-up with senior managementEvaluation criteriaProven track record of clear and impactful communication, both written and verbal, including presentations to stakeholders (business, architects, and management)Demonstrated experience managing RFP projects within public sector environmentsSolid experience in handling multiple OPEX & CAPEX budgets and multi-year financial forecastsStrong leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams (architects, senior/junior consultants)Experience leading agile ceremonies (Scrum) and stakeholder update meetingsConformity criteriaMinimum 10 years of experience as a Project ManagerFluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written) + operational level in FrenchAt least 2 years of experience working within a public company or institutionMinimum 5 years of experience managing projects involving both internal and external clientsAvailability to work at least 2 days onsite (schedule to be agreed with the client)
