For a company located in Kortemark, specialized in the construction of bulk tank trailers, we are looking for an Electromechanical Technician to strengthen the production team.
Your Role:
As an Electromechanical Technician, you are responsible for the complete technical outfitting of new bulk tank trailers. You work with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and ensure that each trailer is fully operational before delivery.
Your Responsibilities:
Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assembly of new bulk trailers
Commissioning of new trailers: testing, regulating, and fine-tuning systems
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults when they occur
Making accurate diagnoses and resolving issues efficiently
Contributing to quality, safety, and continuous improvement on the shop floor

What we expect from you?
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with wiring electrical cabinets or vehicles
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
- A technical education in electromechanics, electricity, or electronics, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Capable of using a multimeter to perform diagnostics, check wiring, and detect short circuits
- Interest in steering components, control systems, and automation
- A true team player — guidance, onboarding support, and continuous training are provided
Nice to Have / Plus Points
- Relevant experience with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic components
- Experience in the automotive sector (trucks, trailers) or machine building
- Knowledge of or experience with control systems and automation
Selection Procedure
During the interview process, you will complete a simple technical test related to an electrical steering system diagram. This allows us to assess your basic technical knowledge and practical insight.
