Mission Overview
Amaris is seeking a Senior Digital Transformation Lead to drive the end-to-end digital rollout of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and its his high-impact role is central to executing a comprehensive Digital Strategy for a fully digitalized, connected factory from project delivery through to operational readiness after PPQ batches.
You will ensure seamless integration of digital systems across infrastructure, automation, and applications, aligning technology with business and regulatory needs in a GxP-regulated environment.
Key Objectives
* Execute the full Digital Strategy for a greenfield industrial facility, covering infrastructure, cyber-secure systems, and digital applications.
* Establish and lead digital governance structures to monitor progress, resolve issues, and report across program and digital leadership.
* Drive the planning, implementation, and handover of all digital systems required for efficient plant operations.
* Ensure full compliance with digital standards (infrastructure, cybersecurity, validation) across all stakeholders — including Engineering, Quality, and external partners.
* Act as the digital authority during project delivery and transition to operations.
Main Responsibilities
* Define and manage the digital project schedule, aligned with overall project milestones and deadlines.
* Develop a comprehensive digital project plan — from hardware procurement and network setup to deployment of SCADA, MES, DeltaV, and other critical systems.
* Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with Engineering, IT, Automation, Quality, and Operations to ensure compliant, integrated delivery.
* Ensure adherence to GxP, SOX, cybersecurity, and validation requirements across all digital components.
* Monitor digital project budget and costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
* Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, implementing contingency plans when needed.
* Provide technical leadership to solve complex digital challenges in industrial environments.
* Maintain clear, structured communication with stakeholders at all levels — from technical teams to senior management.
Profile & Qualifications
* 7–10 years of experience in digital transformation, industrial IT, or automation projects, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments.
* Proven track record in leading complex digital programs from design to operational handover.
* Strong project management skills — experience managing technical teams in international, remote, or matrix environments.
* In-depth knowledge of industrial digital systems: SCADA, MES, DeltaV, IIoT, network infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and validation (GAMP).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of Flemish or French is an asset.
