About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the transformation of reporting processes within our Accounting function. This role combines project leadership, business process optimization, and deep expertise in Cognos reporting.
You will drive end-to-end initiatives to modernize reporting tools, improve data quality and usability, and build internal capabilities, acting as the key interface between Finance, IT, and Data teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver reporting transformation initiatives within the Accounting domain
* Analyze current technical reporting processes and define improvement roadmaps
* Evaluate and recommend alternative reporting tools to complement or replace Cognos
* Drive the adoption of Cognos dashboards and modern reporting practices
* Establish and lead the Cognos Knowledge Center:
* Define governance, standards, and best practices
* Oversee the creation of documentation and work instructions (WPI's)
* Ensure scalable knowledge sharing across teams
* Manage and coordinate training programs and user enablement initiatives
* Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, aligning business needs with technical solutions
* Oversee the design and delivery of new reporting solutions, ensuring quality and timelines
* Define and maintain process documentation and control frameworks
* Support the identification and definition of future reporting needs, including for wholesale products
* Provide guidance and oversight on Cognos report development (hands-on involvement when needed)
Required Profile
* Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in data/reporting or finance transformation projects
* Strong expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics, including report development and architecture
* Experience working within Finance/Accounting environments
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (business & technical)
* Strong organizational xphnsxz skills with the ability to manage priorities, risks, and timelines
* Proactive, autonomous, and results-driven mindset
* Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus)
