OverviewDivision: Product Strategy & Product ExpansionFundsPlace is the Euroclear business line for the investment funds covering all funds classes i.e. mutual funds, ETFs and all types of alternatives including private funds. Euroclear is investing significantly in FundsPlace, organically and through M&A/partnership, to support growth, enhance services, and innovate in an industry under constant evolution.By joining the Group Strategy and Product Expansion Division, you will join an international and geographically spread team that, through strong collaboration, articulates the business strategy and engages the company to deliver and grow profitable products & services.Role & ResponsibilitiesThe deputy Head of FundsPlace Strategy and Product Expansion is leading and driving the FundsPlace vision & strategy and is accountable for the expansion of the franchise in new products, services and regions to increase the overall value and relevance of FundsPlace.Strategy and visionEngage actively with the industry, our clients, and partners to assess market dynamics and articulate the vision to confirm, adapt and evolve the strategy of Euroclear FundsPlace across all the product spectrum (mutual funds, ETFs and alternative/private funds)Deep understanding of clients' needs, market trends and competitors' behaviour to identify new opportunities and ensure adequate product & services fitStay ahead of emerging trends such as technological advancements and regulatory changesProduct development and executionResponsible and sponsor for the execution of strategic initiatives and new services development with accountability for realisation of the business planManage roadmap and decide on priorities and necessary trade-offs in perspective of market changes, capacity constraints and time to marketActing as business sponsor to develop & execute strategic partnerships (including M&A if relevant) with external playersSteer a team of product managers to initiate new ideas and support them in focusing and executing those that will make a differenceGo-to-market, commercialisation and value creationClosely collaborate with sales & marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategiesSupport the sales team in key client opportunities and relationships with senior representativesAccountable for P&L of the services (including pricing strategy) and the benefits realisation of new developments/partnershipsStakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across all levels in the organisation (incl. C-suite and division heads) and functions (sales, technology, operations, legal, risk, and compliance)Establish relationships with our key clients as well as market influencersQualifications & ExperienceAt least 15 years of experience with deep knowledge of the Funds industry acquired by working for asset managers, funds platforms, funds servicers, wealth managers or funds management companiesStrong understanding of funds distribution services, execution and custody related servicesExperience, knowledge and interests in all investment funds products, especially ETFs and alternatives fundsProven experience in a product manager role including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with strategic focusFamiliarity and wide connections with Funds industry playersProven experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships and M&AsExperience with platform technology, API, AI, and data solutions is a plusProven interest in DTL-related initiatives and tokenization topics is a plusSkills & CompetenciesLeadership and influence: Proven ability to lead and energize cross-functional teams and drive strategic projects forward to C-suite levels with full autonomyStrategic & innovative thinker: Ability to see the big picture, analyse complex market dynamics, and define a compelling visionClient-focused and commercially savvy: Empathy for clients and a passion for creating solutions that solve their problems; comfortable with sales efforts and engaging with customers for commercial pitchesExcellent communicator: verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levelsResilient & results-oriented: Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical & data-driven: Comfortable with financial modelling and using data to inform decisions and measure successTechnically proficient: Able to engage in technical discussions with engineering teamsFrequent travel might be required 1-2 days a week.About UsWhy join usEmbark on your new adventure at Euroclear, and work at the heart of the global capital markets.
