Accounting & Reporting Oversee and manage all general ledger activities (BE GAAP) Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes Deliver accurate financial statements and perform balance sheet reconciliations Prepare statutory accounts and annual reports Support group reporting (IFRS knowledge is a strong plus) Tax & Compliance Prepare and review VAT returns, Intrastat, and Belgian tax filings Support corporate income tax calculations and declarations Ensure full compliance with Belgian accounting and legal requirements Act as the main point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities Operations & Process Improvements Supervise AP, AR, and fixed assets accounting Streamline, document, and enhance accounting processes and controls Contribute to ERP and accounting system improvements Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with controlling, finance, HR, and business teams Present financial information clearly—even to non-finance colleagues Participate in cross-functional and international projects
