About the Company
Our client is an innovative technology company active in advanced communication and electronic systems for high-performance industrial and mission-critical environments. Their engineering teams develop cutting-edge RF and embedded solutions used in complex international projects across aerospace, defence, secure communications, and advanced infrastructure domains.
To strengthen their engineering department, they are looking for an experienced RF Hardware Development Engineer with strong expertise in HF/VHF analogue design and RF power systems.
Your Responsibilities
* Design and develop analogue RF hardware products from concept to production
* Analyse technical specifications and translate them into robust electronic designs
* Develop HF and VHF transmitter systems operating between 1.5 MHz and 300 MHz
* Work on high-power RF applications including:
* Power amplifiers
* RF filters
* Antenna matching units
* Antenna systems
* Participate in integration, validation, qualification, and industrialisation phases
* Perform RF tuning, measurements, debugging, and laboratory testing
* Optimise hardware performance at board and product level
* Conduct reliability and robustness studies including:
* Worst-case analysis
* Failure mode analysis
* MTBF / MTTF calculations
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and PCB layout specialists
* Ensure developments comply with international quality and engineering standards
Profile
* Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent engineering field
* Minimum 10 years of experience in RF hardware development
* Strong expertise in HF/RF analogue circuit design
* Experience designing high-power RF systems ranging from 20W up to several kW
* Excellent knowledge of RF simulation tools such as:
* ADS
* Spice
* Microwave Office
* Hands-on experience with RF laboratory equipment:
* Network analysers
* Spectrum analysers
* RF measurement tools
* Strong analytical mindset and troubleshooting capabilities
* Comfortable working in technically complex environments
Nice to Have
* Experience with reliability engineering methodologies
* Interest in radio communication technologies or RF experimentation
* Ability to work across different project phases and technical domains
* Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Fluent in English with good knowledge of French and/or Dutch
