Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic Product Marketing Manager to serve as the primary liaison between SAP’s Business Data Cloud (BDC) team and other lines of business (LoBs) for data product commercialization initiatives. This role is critical to advancing SAP’s Business Data Cloud strategy by enabling effective commercial modeling and cross-LoB collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary contact point for all SAP lines of business regarding data product commercialization within the broader BDC strategy.
* Lead the development and modeling of foundation services fulfillment costs and cross-charge rate structures.
* Provide commercial modeling inputs for LoB Intelligent Package and App2App scenario commercialization.
* Act as strategic liaison with BDC Provisioning and Metering teams on core BDC services.
* Collaborate closely with customer estimator tooling development and implementation.
* Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple SAP business units.
* Conduct sophisticated commercial modeling and financial analysis to support pricing decisions.
* Develop and maintain pricing/packaging frameworks for data products.
* Analyze market opportunities and competitive positioning.
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience in pricing and packaging strategy development.
* Strong commercial modeling and financial analysis capabilities.
* Proficiency in customer estimation tooling and related technologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
* Demonstrated conflict management and resolution skills.
* Ability to influence and align stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
* Background in product marketing or commercial strategy roles.
* Experience working with enterprise software or data products preferred.
* Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
Strategic Importance
This role serves as the critical bridge enabling lines of business to understand and model the commercial impacts of BDC North Star Architecture adoption. The position holder will directly influence SAP’s data monetization strategy and facilitate seamless integration of BDC services across the organization.
Location Requirements
This position requires proximity to Engineering counterparts within the BDC metering and estimator teams in Sao Leopoldo to ensure effective collaboration and rapid iteration on commercial modeling initiatives.
