Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and entrepreneurial candidate looking to embrace a new challenge and contribute to the global strategy of a fast‑growing network? Join the Permanent Improvement Programmes (PIP) team as part of the V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise) programme!

As a European Economic Area (EEA) national, aged between 18 and 28, Business France’s V.I.E programme is your chance to embrace an international experience in a leading scientific network. The 12‑month contract includes a monthly allowance and Business France helps with administrative support for a smooth transition abroad.

Position & Objectives

The PIP team, based in Brussels, Belgium, supports Eurofins laboratories worldwide. The team’s primary mission is to assess and implement methodologies that can enhance laboratory performance while ensuring harmonisation and standardisation. The team is led by an international group of supervisors who work closely with top management. Responsibilities

* Define and support the standardisation of key concepts and processes used by laboratories across the Eurofins network, helping enhance operational clarity and consistency.
* Define and outline standard laboratory processes for specific applications, enabling laboratories to improve turnaround times, optimise workflows and strengthen quality.
* Develop methodologies and standards for performance and cost‑management processes.
* Support global initiatives such as the roll‑out of harmonised Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). By collaborating with laboratory managers to restructure cost and revenue accounting, you will enable laboratories to benchmark their performance, uncover cost‑saving opportunities and better monitor their activities over time.


Qualifications

* Education: Master’s degree in science, engineering or business management in a top university/business school with an excellent academic track record.
* Languages: Excellent English, both oral and written, is a must. Additional language is a plus.
* Personal skills: Strong problem‑solver with a “can‑do” attitude, able to pragmatically define solutions, and capture and understand all relevant details when necessary.
* Technical IT knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel). Advanced proficiency with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Power BI is a plus.
