As a Freelance Commercial Controlling Manager your responsibilities are:
* Manage and analyze Trade Partner Investments (TPI) and commercial agreements
* Review contracts and validate commercial and marketing investments
* Perform profitability analysis and margin follow-up across EMEA markets
* Support monthly closing activities related to commercial and marketing spend
* Reconcile accounts and perform accounting postings linked to controlling activities
* Conduct business reviews with regional commercial teams and markets
* Support FP&A activities and coordinate with offshore finance support teams
* Build business cases and support commercial decision-making
* Monitor top-line performance, margins, and commercial KPIs
* Collaborate closely with Accounting, AP/AR, FP&A, and Commercial stakeholders
* Support reporting improvements and data analysis initiatives
A successful Freelance Commercial Controlling Manager should have:
* Experience as Commercial Controller, Business Controller, or FP&A Analyst in an international environment
* Strong experience in commercial controlling, profitability analysis, and financial reporting
* Good understanding of accounting and month-end closing processes
* Experience with Trade Partner Investments (TPI), commercial spend, or marketing investments is a strong plus
* Advanced Excel skills mandatory / Experience with SAP required | Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus ;
* Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
* Fluent in English, Dutch is a strong advantage
