What can you expect from this assignment?
Your working environment
* client is building a new media building that includes the construction, furnishing and development of studios and other media production infrastructure. In addition, work processes and change processes are also an integral part of the scope.
* This project is a once in a lifetime for all colleagues at client. The assignment was split into several sub-assignments that are carried out in collaboration with external partners (for the construction part by client Morgen, a consortium of the largest contractors in Flanders). client always takes on the role of client in this.
* In that role, we also realize projects ourselves. These are often situated in finishing in the context of specific client processes, finishing for creating the media feeling, projects in the context of safety and security, etc.
* These are also a number of technical projects, such as the expansion of the capacity of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
Your job description
* As an implementation coordinator (UC), you are responsible for the coordination of the construction and facilities projects and you are responsible for the successful collaboration of the various parties that are working together in the new client House.
* You are a point of contact for all parties involved on site.
* You keep track of the planning of design, implementation, delivery.
* You coordinate this planning with colleagues who have a similar position in the field of media facilities, change management and relocation design.
* You will coordinate the other architectural activities in the building: client Morgen that will get rid of its comments on provisional delivery, the internal facility department that starts up its maintenance contracts and also carries out regular maintenance/inspections/repairs.
* You take care of the coordination in the field. Access, agreements about which activities take place where, who is assigned which storage zones, ...
* You act as a point of contact for the various parties in the field.
* You anticipate because you have knowledge of the scope of the various projects.
* You also have knowledge of the stakeholders of the various projects.
* You include the needs and sensitivities they have in your decision proposals.
* In your role as UC, you can also be responsible for administrative and budgetary follow-up.
* In summary, you are responsible for the coordination of the architectural finishing projects and the coordination of these within the other activities in the building.
* The coordinator monitors timing, communicates with many project leaders and those responsible for implementation, reports in a structured way on the ongoing activities.

* You have the maturity to lead meetings efficiently and correctly.
* Administration does not scare you.

* On site, you dare to ask the contractors critical questions.
* You enter into a dialogue with the designers and know how to present results clearly, supported by your own presentation
Requirements
* Experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure projects or development projects
* Experience as a point of contact for the various parties in the field (workers, foreman, designers, suppliers,...)
* Experience with structural finishing, you can handle (structural) technical parts
* Experience in the planning of design, implementation and delivery
* Knowledge of terminology, organization, roles and processes of the PM methodology (e.g. Prince2, PMBok, ...)
* Experience with AutoCAD
* Project management techniques and tools (risk management, issue management, ...)
* MS Project, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
