Freelance Accounting Team Lead Position.
What will you do?
You lead a team of 10 finance professionals and are responsible for the correct and timely delivery of financial reports to external clients within the banking and insurance sector.
Specifically:Responsible for IFRS and BGAAP reporting to external customersMonitoring financial processes and risks within a regulated environmentManaging, coaching and developing a bilingual teamOptimizing and harmonizing financial processesActing as a point of contact for customers in reporting and improvement processesLinking IT systems to financial reportingYou report to the Head of Finance.
Skills Who are we looking for?
At least 10 years of experience within the banking or financial sectorProven experience in accounting and financial reporting (IFRS & BGAAP)Experience in team managementExperience in a regulated environment is a strong assetStrong analytical skills and insight into process optimizationDutch or French speaking with good knowledge of the other national languageStrong knowledge of MS Office; SQL is a plusHands-on mentality with coaching leadership styleProven experience in accounting and financial reporting (IFRS & BGAAP)French speaking with a good knowledge of the other national language
