The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and pricing reinsurance treaties, supporting the development and enhancement of actuarial pricing models and providing support to the underwriting teams in Brussels. As such, you will:
• Assist in pricing reinsurance contracts.
• Provide actuarial support to the underwriting teams.
• Collaborate with other actuaries, underwriters and other departments on projects.
• Collect client and market data to perform actuarial studies.
• Support the development and maintenance of pricing tools.
Your profile
• Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• Good analytical and communication skills, attention to detail.
• Strong team player and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Able to manage and meet deadlines and work under time pressure during renewals.
• Knowledge of one programming language such as VBA, R, Python, SQL.
• Fluent in English, a second language a plus (Dutch/German/French).
• First professional experience in re/insurance welcome.
