About the Role
We're seeking an expert Project Manager Infrastructure (Freelance) to lead and deliver high-impact IT and OT infrastructure transformation projects for our client in Brussels. This is a freelance assignment, running for 22 months, where you'll drive the evolution and security of critical infrastructure systems that power business continuity and innovation. Your leadership will directly shape the digital backbone of a major organization, ensuring robust, secure, and future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end management of IT infrastructure and security projects, from scoping to delivery and knowledge transfer.
Identify and engage all relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, and budgets, driving accountability and transparency.
Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Analyze and manage project changes, evaluating impact and executing necessary actions to maintain momentum.
Ensure seamless transition of project outcomes to business-as-usual operations, empowering teams for ongoing success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Digital Business Solutions department, focusing on both IT and OT infrastructure evolution.
Drive cloud migration and hybrid cloud initiatives, ensuring secure and efficient integration.
Oversee implementation of Identity Access Management (IAM), network micro-segmentation, and virtualization platforms.
Manage projects involving SAP BI and support the integration of advanced analytics solutions.
Lead RFI/RFP processes and identify external partners as needed.
Leverage experience in Distribution Network Operator environments to deliver tailored infrastructure solutions.
Technical Skills & Experience
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in IT infrastructure project management.
Demonstrated expertise in cloud migrations and hybrid cloud solutions.
Strong background in Identity Access Management (IAM) and network micro-segmentation.
Hands-on experience with SAP BI and virtualization platforms.
Project Management Certification (Prince2 or PMI) required.
Experience with ATRIAS is highly valued.
Proven track record in RFI/RFP processes and external partner identification.
Previous experience working with or for a Distribution Network Operator is a strong advantage.
Language Proficiency
Fluency in English is required.
Perfect command of either Dutch or French, with a good working knowledge of the other language.
