Join to apply for the Digital Design Engineer role at OMNIVISION.
As a Digital Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, verifying, and documenting control and signal processing blocks for advanced CMOS image sensors. The role involves collaboration with mixed-signal design engineers, performing verification tasks, supporting physical integration teams with DFT, placement, and timing challenges, and working hands-on with silicon in the lab during sensor characterization and validation.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Design and verify image sensor control and processing functions
* Design and verify high-speed interfaces (LVDS/MIPI/…)
* Full-chip integration, logic synthesis, LEC, STA, power analysis, and gate-level simulation
* Chip bring-up, validation, and debugging
* Participate in FPGA development
* Document architecture, registers, interfaces, and design
* Implement test insertion methods (scan, MBIST, etc.)
Requirements
* MS degree in Electrical Engineering; digital design experience is a plus
* Knowledge of digital design flow, including RTL coding/simulation, synthesis, static timing analysis, and equivalence check
* Familiarity with high-performance and low-power design techniques is advantageous
* Knowledge of FPGA and emulation platforms, SOC architecture, assertion-based formal verification, UVM, image processing/DSP are pluses
* Excellent command of English as a working language
Applicants should include a cover letter explaining their motivation to move to, live, and work in Belgium, along with their CV.
