Do you have solid operational experience and want to take your next step into a broader leadership role?
Do you want to grow within a leading company while managing impactful operations?
We’re looking for a Junior Operations Manager with 2 to 5 years of experience of first experience, ready to take on responsibility progressively — and grow into the full scope of managing five production sites in Flanders (annual turnover of €30 million).
You will report directly to the Division Director and receive tailored coaching and exposure to prepare you for full autonomy over time. It will be a fantastic opportunity to learn on the job using your current skills and building your next ones with great mentors!
Your Mission: Leadership & Impact!
Operations Optimization
o Assist in the supervision of production across five sites and gradually take the lead, with the support of Site Managers.
o Build operational synergies with Sales to align productivity and business goals.
o Contribute to people development by supporting recruitment and training, in collaboration with HR.
o Lead or co-lead modernization and process improvement projects.
o Support and progressively manage the operational budget, aiming for performance and cost control.
Maintenance & Performance
o Work with the Maintenance Coordinator and mobile technical team.
o Oversee and progressively take charge of the preventive and corrective maintenance roadmap.
o Monitor the maintenance budget and support investment planning across the sites.
Safety & Excellence
o Promote a “zero accident” culture by leading or co-leading safety initiatives.
o Conduct regular site audits with QHSE and Prevention Advisors to ensure compliance.
o Be a key player in embedding safety, sustainability, and quality in daily operations.
Your Profile: An Inspiring & Pragmatic Leader!
o Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience.
o Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial operations or production
o Strong field orientation and team engagement mindset.
o First experience in leading people or operational teams is a strong asset.
o Fluent in Dutch and able to work in French.
o Willing to travel frequently across the Flemish region.
