Job Title: Domain Lead – Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BC/DR)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Domain Lead – Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery to join a large-scale, mission-critical environment within a leading international organization.
This role is key to ensuring organizational resilience and IT continuity in the event of major disruptions, including cyber incidents, infrastructure failures, or large-scale crises. You will lead BC/DR initiatives, coordinate across technical and business teams, and ensure recovery strategies meet operational and business needs.

Core Responsibilities
Business Continuity Management
* Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
* Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIA) to identify and prioritize critical processes
* Align continuity strategies with operational and business needs
IT Disaster Recovery Strategy
* Define and maintain a comprehensive IT Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy
* Design recovery solutions aligned with Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
* Evaluate risks and define mitigation strategies for potential disruptions
Planning & Execution
* Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and crisis management plans
* Lead regular testing exercises, including table-top and large-scale simulations
* Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Governance & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and security standards
* Maintain documentation, reporting, and audit readiness
* Collaborate with risk, security, and architecture stakeholders
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
* Coordinate across technical and business teams at all levels
* Influence strategic decisions related to resilience, budgets, and priorities
* Lead and guide multidisciplinary teams in BC/DR initiatives
Profile Requirements
Experience
* Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
* Experience bridging IT and business functions (operations, finance, risk)
* Strong knowledge of risk assessment and modeling techniques (e.g., Monte Carlo, bow-tie analysis)
* Proven experience designing and implementing DR strategies and recovery plans
* Familiarity with BC/DR frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery)
* Experience in complex, enterprise-scale environments
Key Competencies
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic initiatives
* Experience with high-availability and recovery solutions
* Understanding of SLAs, vendor management, and outsourcing environments
* Ability to lead crisis simulations and resilience programs
