Ph3Senior RD product developer team leader (m-f-x) /h3 pThe challenge: /p pThe RD product developer coordinates the development process of new models and accomplishes the following tasks : /p ul liAs an RD product developer, you support the full life cycle of a product. /li liTranslating design proposals of external designers into technically elaborate, feasible concepts. /li liBuilding prototypes using various prototype technologies (2D/3D-CAD tools, 3D-printing, virtual prototyping, comfort models, …) in order to obtain a concept approval of the marketing team. /li liProject based coordination of the multidisciplinary development process, while monitoring quality, timing milestones and target cost. /li liMaking ready for production and ensuring product validation (Industrial Release) of a new model. /li /ul pAs a Senior profile Team Leader you also contribute to: /p ul liImprovement processes that can realised within the department. /li liTogether with management, set the long and short term RD objectives and play a crucial role in realizing them. /li liGuide and coach the entire RD team consisting of RD engineers, model makers/prototypists and technical draftsmen. /li liSet up, follow up and realize the planning of the entire team so that the set deadlines (e.g. trade fairs) are met. /li liYou report to the COO. /li /ul pWho you are: /p ul liYou have a Master’s degree in product development/engineering sciences with at least 8 years of experience including 2D/3D/BOM. /li liExperience with our current software programs Creo Parametric and Windchill, as well as our previous software programs Creo Illustrate, Creo Modeling and ModelManager is a plus. /li liYou are stress-resistant. /li liYou are a team player and coach and take a leading role in team projects and ensure that everyone is involved and contributes. /li liYou have a drive/action mentality. /li liYou have an analytical mind with an eye for detail. /li liYou have a sense of aesthetics. /li liLanguages : Dutch, basic knowledge of French and English. /li liYou live in a radius of maximum 40km of Wervik. /li /ul pThe offer: /p ul liWe are a innovative company in the design industry that will give you the freedom to work independently and take on responsibility.
