(Belgium). SOPREMA is looking for an Expert Testing &
Certification to strengthen the dynamic team of the Technical
Department Northern Europe. You will work in an environment where

DESCRIPTION As an Expert Testing & Certification, you will
share responsibility with the Certification Manager for the entire
certification process. You ensure that SOPREMA products in Northern
Europe are tested according to the correct standards and certified
in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This way,
customers can always trust that the materials and systems are of
high quality and safe. What will you do? Testing of materials and
products You coordinate various tests on building materials such as
roofing, insulation, and waterproofing to check if they meet
required quality and performance standards. You develop test
programs in collaboration with laboratories and certification
bodies, tailored to the needs of different Northern European
countries. Managing certification processes You oversee the
complete certification process, ensuring that products and
processes comply with national and international standards and
certifications. This includes collecting and providing technical
data, applying for new certificates, modifications, and updates
from certification bodies for quality labels (such as ATG, BBA,
KOMO, FM, Sintef, etc.). You maintain active communication with
these bodies, prepare audits, and guide the certification process
through to the issuance of (renewed) certificates. Coordination and
communication You align the desired certificate content and testing
objectives with stakeholders such as the Certification Manager,
technical managers, and the test coordinator. You also ensure
internal communication about ongoing and completed projects.
Additionally, you coordinate quotes, test programs, and planning of
tests and certifications. Documentation and reporting You document
test results accurately, prepare clear reports, and ensure these
are accessible for internal and external parties, including
clients, regulators, and certification bodies. Advice and
compliance You advise the product development team, sales, and
technical service on standards and regulations. You also assist in
solving quality issues or deviations to ensure compliance. Quality
assurance You play a key role in quality assurance, ensuring the
final product is reliable, safe, and meets required standards.
PROFILE We are looking for an analytically strong and
detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality and
regulations. You combine technical expertise with organizational
skills and feel at home in an international context. What do you
bring? - Education – A Master's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in
construction or a technical/scientific field. Equivalent experience
is also acceptable. - Certification – Experience with certification
processes or standardization is a plus. - Languages – Fluent in
English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Dutch, French and
German is a plus. - IT Skills – Proficient in MS Office (Word,
Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Communication – Strong communication
skills, able to clearly convey technical information. - Stress
Resistance – Accurate under pressure and responsible for your
dossiers. - Personality – Ambitious, eager to learn, curious, and
motivated to contribute to the quality and reliability of our
products in an international setting. - Willingness to travel -
Around 30% within Northern Europe, for audits, meetings with
