Financial Controller
Ghent | Financial & Business Controller | English Dutch | 3+ years' experience | Attractive salary packageFor one of our clients, Hays is looking for a Financial Controller in Ghent:
What you'll be doing :
1. Prepare and analyze monthly financial management reports
2. Build a deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, and KPIs
3. Prepare annual budgets for different business units
4. Control and optimize operational costs and calculate compensation plans
5. Act as a key user of financial reporting tools and develop KPI reports and dashboards
6. Provide ad hoc finance and accounting support, including coordination of annual financial statements and tax returns, preparation of consolidated financial statements, and assistance during financial audits
7. Support financial integration of acquisitions and M&A due diligence
What we're looking for :
8. Master's degree in Business Economics/Administration or Finance
9. 2–5 years of experience in controlling or auditing (experience in Big4 is an asset)
10. Excellent knowledge of Excel
11. Analytical, accurate, hands-on, and proactive mindset
12. Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good knowledge of French
