Ahlers Logistics is an international logistics provider with a strong presence in Europe and beyond. From our office in Antwerp, we support complex supply chain solutions for customers across different industries. Finance plays a key role in supporting our operations and strategic decisions.
We are looking for a motivated Business Control Intern to support our finance team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment. This internship is a real opportunity to learn, take responsibility, and grow toward a future role within the company.
What you will do
Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting activities
Prepare and analyse Excel-based reports, dashboards, and data overviews
Assist with cost and performance analyses across different business areas
Help improve financial processes and reporting quality
Work closely with finance colleagues and business stakeholders on ad hoc projects
What we are looking for
Currently studying finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
Intermediate Excel skills (you are comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and structured data)
A professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility
A "you see it, you own it" mindset: you notice issues, take initiative, and follow through
Curious, analytical, and eager to learn
Able to communicate clearly and work well with others
