Responsibilities
* You identify and minimize potential threats and attacks.
* You analyze incidents, including phishing, assessing their impact and threat level.
* You respond to incidents and implement measures to prevent future occurrences (detection, analysis, response, and recovery).
* You follow up on incidents detected by the external SOC partner and take necessary actions.
* You oversee the daily management of cybersecurity tools.
* You report on operational security KPIs and suggest improvements.
* You serve as a primary contact for the external party conducting 24/7 monitoring.
Requirements
* You have at least 8 years of experience as a Security Consultant in environments related to data, infrastructure, or applications.
* You possess expertise in the domain of information security, including implementing management processes and conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
* You can analyze, optimize, and document security processes and governance.
* You are familiar with security management techniques or frameworks (e.g., ISO27000 series, COBIT for Security, NIST, OWASP, CIS Critical Security Controls).
* You hold certifications relevant to your area of expertise (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CEH).
* You have strong knowledge of telecommunications and network infrastructure.
* You are proficient in Dutch at the European CEFR level C2.
* You have hands-on experience with MS 365.
* You possess knowledge of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools.
* You have experience with tools such as Pentera.
* You are knowledgeable in network protocols, topologies, and architectures.
