We are currently seeking a Product Marketer (F/H/X) on a freelance contract to fill a temporary position lasting more than one year.
Job Summary
Coordinate the development of all products distributed in the EMEA market throughout their lifecycle to optimize quality, performance, and user experience.
Key responsabilities
* Identify and select priority development projects in line with the group’s strategy, market opportunities, and customer needs, consistent with Schumacher Europe’s growth plan and strategic positioning ;
* Coordinate the development of all products (Schumacher brand and private label) distributed in the EMEA market throughout their lifecycle to optimize quality, performance, and user experience ;
* Oversee projects for the creation and modification of existing products by effectively allocating tasks across departments, acting as an interface, and setting clear deadlines while ensuring they are met ;
* Develop roadmaps and product lifecycle plans in collaboration with the marketing department to define pricing strategies, product positioning in the market, and communication channels, while monitoring changes in these areas ;
* Compare supplier proposals to optimize costs and technological developments, thereby ensuring the competitiveness of our products ;
* Conduct market research to identify opportunities, technological trends, and product positioning in order to optimize our product catalog. Perform competitive analyses and highlight our products’ unique selling points (USPs) to anticipate changes in user behavior and usage patterns ;
* Serve as the product expert for all related matters, ensuring the availability and accuracy of all technical, logistical, and QA data in the product directory (ERP system and summary table) ;
* In collaboration with marketing, help create sales pitches, product sheets, training materials, and sales support tools.
Profile
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or marketing, with a strong interest in technical aspects and a passion for the automotive industry in the broadest sense ;
* Significant relevant experience in B2B sectors ;
* Fluency in French ; Good knowledge of English (minimum B1 level) ; Dutch, German, and Italian are a plus ;
* Curiosity, creativity, and the ability to take initiative ;
* Excellent project management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines and respond quickly ;
* Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills ;
* Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with a good understanding of the market, trends, and technological developments.
