About the job
The Sales Manager is responsible for defining and executing Franke’s commercial strategy in Belgium across the home appliances and sanitary segments.
He/she drives sales performance, revenue growth, and profitability while strengthening the brand’s premium positioning across all distribution channels.
Your tasks
Key Responsibilities (Scope)
• Full responsibility for the commercial P&L in Belgium
• Strengthening Franke’s premium brand positioning
• Customer portfolio development and retention
• Leadership of the commercial organization
Commercial Strategy Definition
• Develop the national commercial strategy in line with Group guidelines
• Identify growth opportunities (markets, segments, channels)
• Define commercial action plans by channel (DIY, kitchen specialists, wholesalers, specifiers, e-commerce)
Revenue Growth
• Achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets
• Develop and manage key accounts and major retail networks
• Negotiate strategic commercial agreements
• Monitor sales performance and adjust actions accordingly
Team Leadership and Management
• Lead, motivate, and develop sales teams (field sales, KAMs, and potentially customer service)
• Set individual and collective targets
• Foster a high-performance and excellence-driven culture
• Support team development and capability building
Channel Management
• Structure and optimize distribution networks:
o Kitchen specialists
o Sanitary distributors
o DIY retail chains
o Specifiers (architects, developers)
• Develop strategic partnerships
Performance Management
• Monitor KPIs: revenue, margin, sell-in/sell-out, market share
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape
• Provide regular reporting to Group management
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams
• Adapt product offerings to the Belgian market
• Contribute to new product launches
Requirements
Education
• Master’s degree (Business School, Engineering, or equivalent)
Experience
• Minimum 10–15 years of commercial experience
• Proven experience in:
o Home appliances, sanitary products, or kitchen equipment
o B2B and B2B2C distribution environments
• Strong people management experience
• Experience in an international environment is a plus
