Project manager - payment solutions (remote)

At team.blue, we're building a centralized payments team to power streamlined, scalable, and efficient transactions across our extensive portfolio of companies throughout Europe. From recurring subscription billing to e-commerce checkout and point-of-sale transactions, our payments infrastructure supports key moments in our customer journeyand were at the start of a transformative journey.

Were looking for a project managerto help us keep momentum and ensure progress as we build and roll out payment initiatives across markets. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable engaging with product, engineering, finance, and external partners. Youll help coordinate cross-company efforts, track deliverables, structure how we approach subscription payments, and support key partner relationships (including with our chosen acquirer). Over time, this role may grow into a more specialized function focused entirely on payments, but for nowyour mission is to help us keep moving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and track progress on payments initiatives across multiple team.blue brands and markets.
2. Create and manage project plans, timelines, and dependencies, ensuring clarity across all stakeholders.
3. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, finance leads, and local business owners to align on priorities and execution.
4. Organize and facilitate recurring syncs, status updates, and documentation across the central and local teams.
5. Drive forward workstreams related to subscription billing, fee structures, and revenue collection across our portfolio.
6. Support vendor and partner relationship managementincluding coordination with payment service providers and our acquiring bank.
7. Identify blockers and risks early and work with stakeholders to keep initiatives on track.
8. Develop lightweight processes and workflows that help us scale our coordination efforts as the team grows.

Your Profile:
9. 35 years of experience in project management, program management, or operations roles.
10. Prior exposure to fintech, payments, or financial services (through project work, stakeholders, or industry).
11. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
12. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to synthesize complex information and keep diverse stakeholders aligned.
13. Confident working with product and engineering teams, and familiar with agile or hybrid delivery models.
14. Comfortable working across distributed teams and adapting to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
15. Proactive, detail-oriented, and a natural problem-solver.
