Accountant – Antwerp Provenance, Belgium (On-site)

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-driven Accountant to join a dynamic and growing international finance team based the Antwerp provenance and Limburg. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys being close to operations, working across borders, and making a real impact on financial processes.

What you’ll be doing:
Take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and ledger management
Play a key role in month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with accounting standards and internal controls
Work closely with the finance team in Italy and external partners to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Contribute to continuous improvement within the accounting function
Communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders in Dutch and English
You will be reporting directly to the head of finance
Hands-on involvement with the mergers and acquisitions of different entities
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
proven track record of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in an operational role
Strong understanding of core accounting principles and processes
Confident with invoices, reconciliations, and general ledger work
Experience working with international teams is a strong advantage
Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset
