Are you ready to kick-start your career in supply chain?
As our Supply Chain Specialist, you keep our operations running smoothly. You oversee the planning, coordination, and tracking of Orac’s goods, from production to customers across Europe, and actively look for smarter, more efficient ways of working every day.
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll join a supportive team and work closely with our Logistics Team Lead Louis who will guide and coach you along the way.
Here’s what you’ll actually be doing:
* Keep logistics running smoothly. Y ou oversee our daily transport operations. You track shipments, follow up on deliveries and make sure goods arrive on time and within budget. When issues arise, you’ll be the one to tackle them head-on, communicating proactively with customers and resolving escalations quickly to keep satisfaction high.
* Build lasting partnerships. You’ll work closely with our suppliers, nurturing strong relationships that ensure reliable service. Over time you’ll take part in transport negotiations and tenders. tenders, learning how to secure competitive rates and better quality service.
* Own the numbers. You'll analyze fulfillment costs, spot pricing trends, and build insights that help us run a smarter, leaner supply chain.
* Drive improvement. You don’t just execute, you think. By analyzing data and identifying inefficiencies. You’ll lead improvement projects within the warehouse, contributing to smarter processes, cost reduction and waste management.
* Think end-to-end. Your scope goes well beyond transport. You’ll contribute to warehouse improvement projects, dig into inventory management and intercompany flows, and gradually take on a real role in our S&OP process, connecting demand and supply signals across the business. Don’t worry if you haven’t used all our systems yet, we’ll train you on SAP EWM, TransSmart, PowerBI, Jira and more.
What success looks like
In 30 days. You’ve familiarized yourself with our systems (SAP EMS, PowerBI, Jira…). You’ve met the finance, production, and customer service teams.
In 60 days. You take ownership of daily logistics operational tasks, have met all our transport partners and understand our service level agreements inside out.
In 90 days. You’re independently managing full transport operations and you have initiated and completed your first improvement project.
This is how we describe you
* Master’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field.
* First experience in logistics, supply chain or you are a young graduate who is eager to learn fast.
* You love digging into data to find what’s really going on. An analytical mindset is essential.
* You are digital, confident, comfortable with dashboards, business systems and tools like Excel and AI
* Strong communicator who easily builds relationships with both colleagues and external partners
* Fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken
Nice to have
* Experience with SAP (ERP), EWM (WMS).
* Passion for continuous improvement.
