We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join a dynamic ICT and data-driven environment with strong societal impact. The role focuses on translating business needs into clear, structured, and implementable solutions, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Role Overview
As a Functional Analyst, you will analyze and structure business processes, ensuring clarity from the current situation to the future target model. You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Organize and facilitate workshops and meetings to capture, analyze, and map business processes
* Document and formalize business processes and requirements in a clear, structured way usable by implementation teams
* Ensure continuous alignment between implemented solutions and defined business requirements
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders to guarantee consistency between business expectations and delivered solutions
* Contribute to the quality and clarity of functional documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Methodologies & Analysis
* BPMN process modeling
* Testing & Validation support for functional testing and validation of solutions
Analytical & Soft Skills
* Strong analytical thinking and critical evaluation of information
* Ability to conceptualize abstract business needs into concrete solutions
* Strong storytelling and communication skills for workshops and documentation
* Transversal mindset with the ability to understand cross-departmental impacts
Languages
* Dutch: Active knowledge
* French: Active knowledge
* English: Passive knowledge
