The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Head of FP&A & Reporting to join a rapidly growing, Private Equity-backed international education and consumer services business headquartered in Madrid. With an impressive €200m turnover, exceptional EBITDA margins of 30–40%, and an ambitious buy & build growth strategy, the business continues to expand both organically and through strategic acquisitions across global markets.
Reporting directly into the established Private Equity Finance Director, the Head of FP&A & Reporting will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial narrative of the business. This is a highly visible position, partnering closely with key senior leadership, non-finance stakeholders, and the Group function in London. The successful candidate will lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team of four, while working hand-in-hand with the Madrid-based controllership function.

The Role:
The role demands a seasoned FP&A leader with the strategic and technical expertise to drive budgeting, forecasting, and sophisticated financial analysis aligned to Private Equity standards. The business seeks an individual with a strong track record of navigating complex, high-growth environments and delivering actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the FP&A and reporting function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
* Deliver incisive financial analysis and insight to drive commercial performance
* Partner with senior management and non-finance stakeholders to support strategic initiatives
* Interface closely with the Group finance function in London & wider European teams across the continent
* Manage and develop a team of four FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
* Support M&A activities and post-deal integration from a financial planning perspective
* Ensure alignment with Private Equity reporting requirements and cadence
The Requirements:
* Holds a recognised professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or has trained in audit within a Big 4 consultancy
* Proven FP&A leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
* Previous experience managing and developing a small finance team
* Ideally has operated in a Private Equity backed business
* Fluent in both Spanish and English (mandatory)
* Demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement skills and international exposure
