Senior AI Control Systems Engineer – English required – ALTEN Belgium
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior AI Control Systems Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.
As a Senior AI Control Systems Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
Developing AI-based auto-calibration methodologies with robustness guarantees.
Designing and standardizing digital and virtual development tools for hybrid and electric powertrain systems.
Performing virtual validation of control strategies and supporting software testing activities.
Planning and coordinating physical test campaigns for model and calibration validation.
Developing automated data analysis pipelines to extract insights from test data.
Contributing to the AI strategic roadmap in collaboration with senior management.
MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering with a focus on control systems.
Minimum 3 years of experience in optimal control, machine learning, and system identification techniques.
Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, and Simulink; Permanent contract with an attractive salary package
