Overview
Mid-Career Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer at Boeing, located in São José dos Campos, Brazil. Reports to the Propulsion Structures Engineering Manager.
Position Responsibilities
* Guide development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.
* Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
* Guide development of test plans and configurations, support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
* Support in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements. Develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
* Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
* Must have a degree in Engineering.
* Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
* Proficient in both verbal and written communications in English.
* Relevant experience with structural engineering.
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)
* Experience in structural analysis methods and tools (hand-calculation and finite element analysis).
* Experience in design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.
* Experience in durability and damage tolerance analysis.
* Experience in compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA).
* Experience in Fleet Support and Repair design and substantiation.
Relocation

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.
