🔎 Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced FREELANCE Slaughterhouse Supervisor / QA Manager to oversee food quality, hygiene, and operational compliance in a regulated slaughterhouse environment.
In this role, you will lead quality assurance activities, supervise operational processes, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while managing a high-performing team.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Oversee slaughterhouse operations and staff, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
* Implement and monitor food quality control procedures and SOPs
* Conduct audits and inspections in line with local and EU food safety regulations
* Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
* Manage documentation, including quality records, reports, and corrective actions
* Support HACCP, GMP, and other food safety compliance programs
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance
⚙️ Key Requirements
* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in food quality, QA, or slaughterhouse supervision/management
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene, and compliance (HACCP, GMP, local regulations)
* Proven experience in supervising operational teams in a food production or slaughterhouse environment
* Experience in quality audits, inspections, and corrective action management
* Strong document review and approval skills, with meticulous attention to detail
* Languages: Dutch (mandatory), English (required), French (a plus)
* Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
