About the Role We are seeking an elite Workday Consultant (Freelance) to join our client’s team for a 6-month project in Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape and optimize Workday HCM Core, Recruitment, and Talent modules, driving real transformation in HR processes. You’ll collaborate with a team of experts, analysts, and project managers to ensure Workday evolves with the business and delivers continuous value. Your expertise will ensure stable operations, seamless integrations, and ongoing improvements in HR processes. Key Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and optimize the Workday HCM Core module to align with business requirements Translate complex business needs into scalable, effective Workday solutions Support day-to-day Workday operations and resolve system issues swiftly Manage and monitor inbound and outbound integrations with external systems (payroll, benefits, vendors) Troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency using Workday Studio and Core Connectors (including PECI) Collaborate closely with analysts, project managers, and end users to deliver impactful solutions Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and system performance Technical Skills Expert-level proficiency in Workday HCM Core, Recruitment, and Talent modules Advanced hands-on experience with Workday Studio and PECI integrations Strong understanding of complex Workday integration landscapes Solid grasp of HR processes: hiring, job changes, compensation, payroll Ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations Language Proficiency Professional proficiency in English is required Other Requirements Proven experience as a Workday Consultant or Analyst in similar environments Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, able to interact with both HR and IT stakeholders Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-driven approach Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams Workday certifications (HCM, Integrations, Studio) are a plus Experience with complex payroll environments and Workday reporting (Prism Analytics) is an advantage This is a freelance position for a 6-month project based in Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
